This Gazelle Champion Mondial AA-special frame (57CC) from the 80s has been finished in a beautiful 'Amstel red' paintjob, referring to the color of the bikes used by the professional racing team Amstel Bier.
These AA-special frames were the top of the line frames Gazelle produced from 1983 onwards. I finished this example with a full Shimano 600 EX groupset.
The bike is recently refreshed with new cabling, brake pads, chain, tires, and bar tape, this bike rides effortlessly and shifts cleanly. A beautifully balanced vintage road bike that’s ready for many more kilometers.
